Description: Documentary about sea, river, rail freight mechanized transporting in the Soviet Union. Freight trains. Southern river trade port in Moscow. Merchant ships. Trains are coming into the port, goods are transferred from ships to rail cars and vice versa. Various cranes and elevators at work. Lorries are loaded aboard. Moscow northern port transshipment point dispatcher. Grains are loaded from a ship to the grain warehouse or directly to rail cars with pneumatic grain shipper in South Port. Pranes at work. The train leaves the port. Flour are unloaded from the ship. Flour bags are overweighted with a crane. Female crane operator works. Electric truck carries sacks of flour to the warehouses and railway wagons. Port of Klaipeda. Automated reloading work takes place all the year round. Crane reboots the coal from the ship directly into rail wagons. Wood is loaded. Timber is transferred to the river ship and rail wagons from marine vessels. Ships return to port with herring. The port controllers are reported of a return date. The dispatcher notifies about freight movement, coordinates the unloading. The crane unloads herring barrels on the pier. The train leaves for the Georgian port of Poti. Ore is delivered into the specialized quay. Ore is overloaded into the ship's hold. The crane lifts the containers, and discharges iron ore directly into the hold, the containers are returned to the platform. Ship goes from Poti to the port Zhdanov. In Zhdanov iron ore is overloaded to rail wagons and transported to Brest (Belarus). Train rides on the special trestle. Through the bunker and conveyor system iron ore is loaded into Western Europe‘s rail wagons and transported to Europe. Large, powerful electromagnet to overload the iron cargo works in Brest railway station. Cox is overloaded from train to train. Special cranes work between trains. Electric cranes reload the heavy and oversized cargos. Crane loads a narrow locomotive into railway platform. Two cranes load extreme heavy cargo directly on two railway platforms. Cargo vehicles are loaded on the train platforms. Sea port, ships, cranes, works of loading, trains carry cargos.
